Last year, I travelled up to London with my sister and her 17 year old daughter. We’d volunteered as refreshment stand helpers at Shine, an overnight marathon walk, and our spot was near Euston Road. We took the Tube to Warren Street, and my niece remarked how complicated navigating the Underground was.
“It’s simple really, Kait;” I said. “I used to do this on my own all the time when I was your age.”
With genuine amazement she replied, “The Underground hadn’t been built when you were my age!”
Thank you, Kaitlin. Thanks very much.
